We were really impressed with the whole experience. The afternoon tea was delicious, the treatment felt long and indulgent and it was topped off by a trip to the hot tub which just felt wonderful. We have never been before but had such a good day we will definitely be back again. I should also mention that the staff were very attentive and kind.

I booked a ‘mummy and me’ package with my son. The treatments were brilliant and really well co-ordinated. It was my son’s first massage ans he loved it. The staff were brilliant with him from start to finish. He said he felt really relaxed. He enjoyed the hot chocolate and cake at the end too. Great job! Would love to visit again.

Myself and my daughter came for the mummy & me mini spa. We went in the hot tub for half an hour first which was lovely . We had frappes and milkshakes which were so nice! Then we had our treatments. I had the facial which was amazing and my daughter had her nails painted and a mini facial which she really enjoyed. She’s so happy with her painted nails! The venue is lovely and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. Thank you for a lovely experience! My daughter is already asking when we are coming back x

We wanted to celebrate a special birthday for my cousin so booked the Social Butterfly Package at The Retreat which included a treatment, use of the private Social Space, a charcuterie sharing platter and hot/cold soft drinks. We were also able to use the projector and sound system in the room. Imogen was absolutely brilliant helping me to plan the event and nothing was too much trouble all the way along. The day itself was wonderful from start to finish! There were 10 of us in total and it was so well organised, everyone enjoyed their treatments and the platter was delicious (thank you Pat and the catering team!). We also enjoyed prosecco and cocktails all of which were brought to the room for us, nothing was too much bother. The Social Space itself is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The whole thing was as special as we'd hoped. Thanks again to you all and we will be back!

I visited with my 7yo daughter for the jellycat themed spa day. We added on nails and had the most amazing morning. My daughter said "this has been one of the best days of my life". The afternoon tea was delicious and so cute, inc. a great gluten free offering. As we were finished with the day, my daughter plucked up the courage to get her ears pierced and the staff were absolutely amazing, squeezing us in as we hadn't pre-booked. We will most definitely come back again for a special treat and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a spa day with their little ones.
